What advice would you give to someone who stole something but now feels guilty ?

One of the ten commandments is " thou shall not steal ". This simply explains that stealing is a sin .

In every crime we must consider the reason why was that happened .What is the motive of the suspect. However , whatever their reason , its still a crime . Thievery is one of the faultiest crime . Still we must hate the sin , not the sinner . We may gave the sinner an advice about what is the effect of what what he did . Definitely he did wrong ,maybe he has a reason why he did that . Every person has a conscience in their own .So in everything they do that they knew it was against by the law of the people and the worst is the law of the heaven , he can feel guilt .If the thief is really guilty of what he did then , simply give him an advice to do  not do it again if he sincerely ask for forgiveness.
